This serves to signify my agreement to have you legally represent me and sue Gossip Publications for defamation of character. Attached are copies of the published work which have caused offense, as well as signed affidavits from the witnesses who were there during my exchange with their publications officer.
I am sending you a check for $6500. I do know that in addition to this retainer fee, I will be billed $300 for every court appearance.
