Dear Arnold Den,

Two days ago, you published a story regarding the history of the piano and stated that Ferdinando de’Medici was an expert in making clavichords. Unfortunately, this is an assumption made in error, as it was not clavichords that he made but harpsichords. Although the two instruments are quite similar, I feel that it would be best for your publication to print a correction in order to avoid misinformation. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Amanda
