Dear ANDREW HALL,

I am a private citizen urging you to reject he Wood Bill that will be passed before Congress this coming summer. This bill will further decrease the law enforcement on the regulation of timber sales on our state’s public upland areas. This bill also allows timber companies very little accountability to the community for their barbaric methods of harvest used in sensitive areas. I am a witness to the illegal clear-cut as well as slash-burns to large forest areas with no amends made to the public. Multinational timber companies may have the financial ability to support this bill but with the disapproval of concerned public servants just like you, we could cooperate towards a balanced solution to land use issues.

Sincerely,

Fionn
