Dear HENNERY SMITH,

I feel I must write to confirm the school’s position in regards to your daughter. Jane’s work has seen a serious decline in the past few months and she has failed to pass the year in both Math’s and English. We have previously advised you what would happen if Jane’s work did not improve, through our letters and phone calls. We have sent this letter to your work’s address in the knowledge that this letter will get your earliest attention. As such this is a confirmation that Jane will have to attend summer school in order to pass the school year.
Please phone me on the number at the top of this letter if you feel that there is anything to discuss.

Sincerely,
Nishan
