A large number of calls have been made to our customer service hotline in the past week regarding our Smith Gas Grill with product reference number 45820-1. Many of our customers are relaying their concerns about the gas line, which they feel is a fire hazard. The calls have not been just from the tri-state area but have come from as far as Arizona, making this issue possibly a design flaw in nature.
I need you to coordinate with our Design Team to investigate the validity of these complaints. I want you to present your findings to me and the rest of the management by Tuesday of next week. We need to do this immediately to minimize any potential risks, both physical and financial in nature. Thank you for your cooperation.
