Dear Austin Parker,
I have just opened up the letter containing the tax assessment based on my property value. The assessment quotes that there has been a doubling of the total value of my house. This is an obvious error. As a house that is over thirty years old, it is nigh on impossible to see this kind of property value increase, in fact the street has only seen a 5% increase in value in the last twelve months.
Additionally I have just had valuation undertaken of my home which indicated a 6% increase in its worth since last year. All this information is available from confirmed sources if you feel it is required, but feel it is not necessary for a correct tax assessment to be reissued.
