Before anything else, kindly accept my thanks for the feedback you sent the other day regarding my performance at work. I have always tried to work as hard as possible, but would not have realized certain things I could work on to improve if you had not alerted me. I agree that I have a tendency to assume that other people understand me even if they do not necessarily do, and that this results in miscommunication which can lead to costly errors. I am therefore committed to improving the communication from my end. I am sorry for any trouble I may have caused and am grateful that you pointed this out in a very straightforward manner.
