Dear Mary Johnson Gray,

When I describe my ideal employee, I would say I want someone who is a team player, quick on their feet, self-motivated, understand the importance of a deadline, and honest. When I think about who I currently employ who fits all of that criteria, I think of John Salinger.

John has been with A&C for many years. He has been invaluable to the running and growth of our small company. He takes the younger guys under his wing and teaches them all the tricks of the trade.

John is the first one in the door in the morning and the last to leave at night. He has only come to my office one time with a problem in all the years I have known him. That was to ask off for his daughter’s wedding during a big project. Of course, I agreed that the wedding took priority and John could jump back in the project when he was able.

John would be a valuable asset to your company. We will hate to see him go but I understand his need to move on.

If I can be of any further service, do not hesitate to call.

Sincerely,

Lunt
