I am writing this application in response to your advertisement posted on 15 July at seek [dot] com for the position of PGY3 Senior Resident Medical Officer.
I am an MBBS graduate in the middle of my PGY3. I did my PGY2 year at Dresden Hospital, where I worked in orthopedic, endocrinology, respiratory, geriatrics, and surgery departments. During my intern year, I worked in coronary, geriatric, and pediatric intensive care units. I have gained experience doing shift work, on call, and placements at remote hospitals.
I have attended conferences, journal clubs, rounds, teaching sessions, and multi-disciplinary seminars throughout my PGY1 and PGY2 years. I am also involved in research. My strong communication and interpersonal skills have been used while teaching practical skills to students and treating patients.
I am a registered practitioner with both RACS and RACP.
