Following on from almost a decade of working here with some of the best colleagues I have ever known, I have decided to leave and take up a job offer from Sarsons Corporation. It was never going to be an easy decision but the fact that the new job would allow Sarah and myself to visit our parents more often was a deciding factor.
During the time it takes to find someone to replace me I have temporarily promoted Colin. Colin will take on my responsibilities immediately and your work should continue as if nothing had changed. I am sure you will find Colin’s jokes much funnier than my own anyway.
I will be sad to leave, and can truthfully say that I will miss all of you. I just hope that you can all attend my leaving meal, and I will see you all then.
