I was scheduled to attend the said meeting but was suddenly called by my son this morning to inform me that my wife has been involved in a car accident. I have to attend to her at the hospital where she was rushed to and would not be able to leave until her operation is finished. My assistant has been well-oriented about the details of the business deal from our end. Her decisions and actions at the meeting will be regarded as legal and binding. I also give her authorization to sign any legal documents needed at the meeting on my behalf.
