First of all, I would like to extend my gratitude for the position you have offered me. I have been looking forward to working for the XYZ Training Consultants as a Process Improvement Specialist. In addition, my discussion with you has proven to be both enlightening and very encouraging.
I would, however, like to express my concern regarding the compensation package you offered me. While I understand that this is the going rate for entry-level employees, I also believe that this is a bit too low for a specialist such as myself. I was hoping that we could take into account my qualifications as a Six Sigma black-belter as well as the years of experience I have had working in this area.
