First of all, I would like to thank you for inviting me to work with your team as a Quality Assurance Supervisor. The job seems both interesting and challenging. I am looking forward to starting as soon as possible.
Before I do that, though, I was hoping we could iron out some of my concerns, the main one being the compensation package. I feel that it is not sufficient, given the amount of work that I will have to do as well as the number of years I have worked in this field. I have received several certifications within the last three years. In addition, I have been working in this field for eight years already. This is why I feel that a mere 5% increase in my current salary is not enough.
I am quite sure that we will be able to come to an agreement very soon. Please let me know when you are free for a discussion about this. Thank you very much for your consideration.
