James Jenkins passed away at the age of 64, as a result of an accident whilst walking in the York Mountains, on April 19. James resided near the mountains and enjoyed his time every day. James, much loved father, brother and grandfather, was born October 1, 1943, in Lancaster, to John and Emma Jenkins. He leaves behind his mother, Emma, of York; brother, Robert, Lancaster; daughter, Emma, York; and son, Colin, Bristol.
There will be a funeral service held on Friday, April 25, at the York Chapel at 762 South Lane at 14:00. There will be time before hand for those wishing to pay their respects beforehand. Burial will take place at the family plot.
